Welcome to
my story

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit our page.

What began in 2017 as a personal passion project has since grown into something truly meaningful — evolving into both the I.M.M.E Foundation and I.M.M.E Media, a unique charity and creative company dedicated to creating lasting impact through memories, storytelling, and innovation.

The name I.M.M.E was inspired by my daughter, Imogen, whose nickname is Imme. She became the inspiration behind everything I set out to build — a way to help others while creating something positive, meaningful, and lasting for the future. Naming both the charity and company after her ensures she will always remain at the heart of this journey.

Over time, we gave I.M.M.E a deeper meaning:

I.M.M.E

CRAIG CHAYTOR

V.R Producer bringing wonderful scenes to life

Good day to you all, and thank you for taking the time to read our story.

My name is Craig Chaytor, and from a young age I have always had a passion for technology, creativity, and innovation. Although my career originally began within the bakery and catering industry, where I worked my way from the bottom to become a Head Chef and Manager, I never imagined that life would eventually lead me down a completely different path.

Then, in 2016, everything changed.

One evening, while exploring virtual reality videos using a simple cardboard headset and smartphone, my family enjoyed the fun and excitement the technology brought. However, when my daughter Imogen tried it for herself, the experience was completely different. The visuals and sounds became overwhelming, causing sensory overload and distress.

As I searched through countless VR experiences, I quickly realised there was very little designed for children with disabilities or additional sensory needs.

That moment stayed with me.

While continuing my work as a chef, I began dedicating my spare time to learning everything I could about virtual reality, sensory therapy, immersive experiences, and educational technology — all with one goal in mind: helping my daughter thrive.

Slowly, ideas became creations, and creations became worlds.

As Imogen began responding positively, I witnessed first-hand how immersive experiences could support both education and wellbeing. What started as a father trying to help his daughter soon became something much bigger.

That was the moment the I.M.M.E Project was born.

Today, I create immersive worlds and experiences that introduce new ways of teaching, engaging, and supporting children through a unique combination of books, storytelling, technology, and accessible smart devices.

What began inside our family home has now reached millions of people across the world.

Along this journey, we’ve had the privilege of receiving support, recognition, and encouragement from incredible organisations and individuals including:

…and many more amazing people who continue to inspire and support this journey.

What makes this story truly special is that it all began with a father simply wanting to help his daughter — and discovering along the way that it could also help others around the world.

Even today, the journey continues, and I remain committed to learning, creating, and pushing boundaries to develop meaningful experiences that can make a difference in people’s lives.

Thank you for being part of the story.
